Welcome Reception in the Great Hall
at St Georges Hall – 7.15pm
The Great Hall within St Georges Hall is an amazing setting to welcome delegates, faculty and exhibitors to the UKCS Annual Meeting and to Liverpool. The impressive hall displays beautiful chandeliers and stained glass windows and drinks will be served under a magnificent barrel vaulted ceiling.
It will be a very interesting way to start the social programme for the Conference and for delegates to relax and enjoy each other’s company.

UKCS Liverpudlian Gala Dinner and Dance
at the stylish Blue Bar and Grill, Albert Docks – 8.00pm.
A highlight of the conference is the UKCS Gala Dinner and Dance, when all the specialities get together along with the exhibitors and sponsors for a great networking evening! A drinks reception is followed by dinner, entertainment and of course dancing to the Cheatles a very popular Beatles tribute band.
The Cheatles will transport our delegates back to the swinging sixties, creating the ultimate feel good factor. The band is firmly established as on of the finest Beatle tribute bands around and have performed at top venues around the UK, Europe and the Far East.
The social events at UKCS Conferences are always popular and fun and this year will be no exception but with a twist. The dress code for the event will be fancy dress so we look forward to seeing participants in their glad-rags!

Sea Odyssey - Giant Spectacular
In April, the world's greatest street theatre company, Royal De Luxe, will bring their Little Girl Giant to Liverpool in one of the UK's most spectacular events. In commemoration of the centenary of the sinking of RMS Titanic, Sea Odyssey is a magical tale of love, loss and reunion played out on a gigantic scale. It will take place in key city spaces, moving across North Liverpool and the city centre, wowing the hundreds of thousands of people who are expected to descend on the city over the three days.
