Registration, Abstract Submission & Bursaries

Registration

Registrations must be made on the official Registration Form and sent to the Conference Secretariat with full payment. (Photocopies of the Form will be accepted).

The Registration Fee includes participation in all scientific sessions, poster viewing and Exhibition, Conference Programme and Abstract Book, lunch, teas/coffee and VAT where applicable.

Early Registration (before 20th January 2006) £150.00
Late Registration (after 21st January 2006) £190.00

Payment Methods

Payment must be made in full, in pounds sterling, either by:

  1. cheque drawn on a UK bank payable to ICS (UK) Conference
  2. bank/credit transfer free of any bank charge to payee to:

Cater Allen Private Bank, Sovereign House, Western Road, Romford RM1 3SP, Sort Code: 16-57-10; Account name: Index Communications Meeting Services ICS UK Conference; Account number: 42221262; Please give the delegate’s surname as the reference, to aid allocation of the funds.

If you wish to transfer funds from an overseas bank, please contact the Conference Secretariat for the information you require.

IT IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL THAT FULL DETAILS OF ANY BANK TRANSFER ARE PROVIDED WITH THE REGISTRATION FORM. IT IS ONLY POSSIBLE TO ALLOCATE RECEIVED FUNDS CORRECTLY WITH THIS DOCUMENTATION. PLEASE PROVIDE THE DELEGATE’S SURNAME IN THE REFERENCE LINE OF ANY TRANSFER TO AID ITS IDENTIFICATION.

FUNDS SHOULD BE TRANSFERRED AT LEAST 14 DAYS PRIOR TO THE CONFERENCE TO ENSURE CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION. ONLY PAYMENT BY CHEQUE OR CREDIT CARD IS POSSIBLE WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THE CONFERENCE.

TO COVER CREDIT CARD COMPANY CHARGES, PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD OF THE CONFERENCE AND SOCIAL FEES WILL INCUR AN ADMINISTRATION CHARGE OF 4% TO BE INCLUDED IN THE TOTAL PAYMENT.

WHERE A CREDIT CARD NUMBER IS PROVIDED AS A GUARANTEE FOR HOTEL ACCOMMODATION, NO DEDUCTION IS MADE BY THE CONFERENCE SECRETARIAT: THE CARD NUMBER IS GIVEN TO THE HOTEL AND WILL BE CHARGED BY THEM ACCORDINGLY, ON ARRIVAL OR DEPARTURE.

Confirmation

Only registrations received with payment will be registered for the Conference.

Cancellation

All cancellations should be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat. Cancellations received before 30th January 2006: full refund minus 25% administration charge: Cancellation after 31st January 2006 no refund. All approved refunds will be processed and issued 60 days after the Conference.

Bursaries

As a special feature this year, a limited number of bursaries will be given to support students in full time research who wish to attend the Conference.

There will be 2 categories of bursaries: one sponsored by ICS (UK): for more information refer to www.ukcs.uk.net and the other sponsored by the 2006 Conference itself, which relates to abstract submission.

The Application Form for the Conference Bursaries can be accessed here as a pdf and the deadline for applications will be 20th January 2006.

Conditions of Bursary Applications:

A submission of an application signifies acceptance of these conditions, plus any other conditions given on the Application Form.
