Ewen McCallum is currently Chief Meteorologist at the UK Met office, responsible for – amongst other things - the professional development of forecasters. Ewen has worked for the Met Office for 35 years and has spent much of his time in operational roles, from outfield forecaster to Head of Forecasting in the UK.

Ian Milsom was appointed Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg in 2000. This position is combined with the position of Consultant Gynaecologist at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg, Sweden. He is at present Chairman of the Institute of Clinical Sciences, Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He also serves on the editorial boards of several journals and is Associate Editor for Acta Obstetricia Gynaecologica Scandinavica.
