This year the Conference will have a focus on best practice in terms of the development of techniques and methods from original concept and design. We have chosen the theme of ‘From Ideas to Innovation’ in order to encapsulate the review, consideration and exchange of ideas that our programme will provide. It is set to be a stimulating and interesting few days as we consider the care strategies that we use in our every-day practice, how these came about from original innovation and how they should be developed in the future.

Much innovation originates via our Corporate Partners and already we have a spectacular Exhibition in the making to run in parallel with this Conference. The companies involved will display their latest innovations as well as communicating new methods of well tried and tested products and this exchange will also contribute greatly to this Conference in terms of the information and ideas available for participants to learn from and take home.

More and more at Conferences these days the making of new friendships and collaborations is also highly valuable since we learn from each other and can approach our challenges in a more innovative way on the basis of others’ research. As part of this Conference we will be staging networking events and we encourage all participants to join both the Welcome Reception at our Milestones Museum and the black tie Gala Dinner celebration of our speciality at the wonderful Oakley Hall.

This will be a dynamic, educational and fun few days in Basingstoke and I encourage all professionals involved in the field of Continence Care to begin planning their participation in this important event. Please maximise this Conference by submitting material as part of the ‘Call for Abstracts’ and please do register early to take advantage of the Early Registration discount.

We very much look forward to seeing you in Hampshire.
