Welcome Reception

Monday 2nd July
At York Castle Museum, from 7.30pm

Come and join us for an informal event at this excellent and easy-to-find venue. Step back in time and soak up the atmosphere of the Victorian Street, where we will hold a drinks reception.

As well as many, many interesting and historical museum exhibits, there are the detailed and fascinating traditional Victorian shops to enjoy, complete with a live character cast!

There is so much to enjoy at the Museum that we are delighted that our tickets for this Reception will enable guests to return to the Castle Museum at a different time to enjoy what there is not time enough to enjoy in one evening. (Conditions apply).

Tickets are complimentary to delegates, but please indicate on your Registration Form whether or not you wish to attend.

River Trip

Tuesday 3rd July
Board at the Boatyard, Lendal Bridge at 7.30pm

Take to the River and see this beautiful city from a different side! We have arranged for a private trip for the SOM ASM 2007 group.

We will be onboard the boat for around 11/2 hours and travel upriver towards Bishopthorpe Palace, home of the Archbishop of York.

Drinks and canapés will be served and are included in the ticket price. Tickets are complimentary to Full Registrants but please indicate on your Registration Form whether or not you wish to attend. Early booking is recommended, since places are limited.

Gala Dinner

Wednesday 4thJuly at the National Railway Museum, from 7.00pm

As a premier venue within York and as a national treasure, we are thrilled to have booked the National Railway Museum for our Gala Dinner.

We have arranged for our guests to have the option of a flight on the Yorkshire Wheel at a discounted price before Dinner (please indicate on the Registration Form if you wish to do this) followed by a Reception and Dinner amongst the magnificent displays in the Museum.

Tickets are NOT included in the Registration Fee. Ticket price: £45 per person, to include drinks at the Pre-Dinner Reception, 3 course Dinner and some wine.
